I enjoyed this book by Ms. Garcia. It was a very quick read and by page two or three of the story, you're fully immersed in the story of Adira. It was so sad how she came to be homeless and how her mother and step father treated her. But the story moved in a natural, progressive way. I like how Adira is shown to be a young girl finding her way. One thing the story addressed is how can God be in the midst of anything when bad things happen to us. In fact, I think that made the story quite unique.My only gripe is that I didn't know it was going to end in an abrupt way but the author did tell me more sequels would be coming out so I am looking forward to learning more about Adira and her journey.

This book, WINGS OF EAGLES is a very good book. Once I started the book, I was unable to put it down. This book is of a Christian genre with a lot of heartfelt messages woven into the storyline. It made me give my life a once over and see if some of the lessons/messages can be woven into my life. I can say yes wholeheartedly that several can. Life is to short, we need to lighten up and enjoy what is around us. Don't dwell on what you want in life, but look to life as a path to God. There will always be choices and when you make a choice it is part of life's lessons. It will never be an easy path, you need variety in your life to learn. Keep your eyes open as well as your heart, but never give up. God is right there with you. You just need to listen and feel.
Wings of Eagles will make your heart soar. I knew when I read the first chapter that I wouldn't put it down until I finished the book. Annabelle Garcia reminds us of the unconditional love God wants us to have for everyone. The power of redemption through God's amazing love unfolds through the lives of true Christians for all mankind. Can't wait to see what happens with Adira and EZ. The only problem I have is the story ended. I simply wanted more. Hope the author continues the story.
What a pleasant surprise. Wings Of Eagles is a great selection for the young adult/teen reader. I was drawn in by the main character, so much so, that I found myself crying when she shared her story. I love stories that chronicle the Christian walk of believers at all stages in their faith. With a little polish, I believe this book would be utilized to entertain and encourage a massive audience. I look forward to reading the next segment.

Having been homeless in my early twenties, I could relate to quite a bit of Adira's story. This was a lovely and very real story. It left me hopeful. Ms. Garcia was wise to end the story where she did. Highly recommended! Especially for those familiar with the Houston Texas area.
